【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverprimary,secondary,andcoaxialtypesofflexibleconnectorpipesintendedforshortlengthtransferandcontainmentofthespecificliquidfuels(orvaporsthereof)identifiedinthisOutline,atcommercial(public)orfleet(private)automotivemotorvehiclefuelingstations.1.2Connectorpipesmaybemetallic,nonmetallic,orcomposite,butarelimitedtomaximum12ft(3.65m)lengthsinnominalsizesupto4inches(102mm)asflexibletransitioncomponentswithinfueldispensingand/orvaporrecoverypipingsystems,typicallyintendedforuseinthefollowingautomotivefuelingstationapplications:a)Undergrounduse(belowsurfacebutaccessiblesuchaswithinchasepiping)whenconnectedtoundergroundtanksorundergroundpipeswithexpectedexposurestosoil,water,andsoilfluids;b)Sumpuse(enclosedtank,transitionordispensertypes)whenconnectedtopumps,valves,monitors,ordispensingdeviceswithexpectedexposurestosoil,water,soilfluids,andoccasionalsunlight;c)Abovegrounduse(abovesurfacebutwithadditionalphysicalprotection)whenconnectedtoabovegroundtanksorabovegroundpipeswithexpectedexposurestosoil,water,soilfluids,andsunlight.1.3Connectorpipesystemsareintendedforcontainmentofautomotivefuelsandexposuretosoilfluidsthathavesimilarchemical,physicalandmaterialcompatibilitypropertiesasrepresentedbythetestliquidsintheserequirementsbasedonfuelsformulatedinaccordancewith40CFRPart80,RegulationofFuelsandFuelAdditives,andmeetingthefollowingASTMFuelSpecificationsandblendlimitations:a)ASTMD-975,StandardSpecificationforDieselFuelOils,withbiodieselblendsuptoamaximumof5percent(B5);b)ASTMD-7467,StandardSpecificationforLowBlendBiodiesel,withbiodieselblendsbetween6to20percent(B6toB20).c)ASTMD-4814,StandardSpecificationforAutomotiveSpark-IgnitionEngineFuel,gasolineoroxygenatedgasoline,withlimitedethanolblendsuptoamaximumof10percent(E10).d)ASTMD-5798,StandardSpecificationforFuelEthanol(Ed75–Ed85)forAutomotiveSpark-IgnitionEngines,highblendethanol,withgasoline/ethanolmixturesinthenominalE85range(E70–E90).e)MidRangeEthanolBlends(E11toE69)usingvariablemixturesofASTMD4814LowBlendEthanolandASTMD5798HighBlendEthanol1.4Productscoveredbythisoutlineareintendedtobeinstalledandusedinaccordancewith:a)FlammableandCombustibleLiquidsCode,NFPA30,b)CodeforMotorFuelDispensingFacilitiesandGarages,NFPA30A,c)UniformFireCode,NFPA1,d)InternationalFireCodepublishedbytheInternationalFireCouncil,ore)Otherapplicablefederalandstateregulationsforpiping.1.5Theseproductsarefactorymanufacturedandintendedforon-sitefieldassembly,inspection,andleaktestingforthespecifiedapplicationsanduseconditionsbyqualifiedpersonsinaccordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstructionsandlocalrequirements.1.6Theseproductsareintendedtobeperiodicallyinspectedandmaintainedforcontinuedservice,ortakenoutofserviceifnecessary,byqualifiedpersonsinaccordancewithindustryrecommendedpracticesand/orthemanufacturersinstructions.1.7Theseproductshavenotbeenevaluatedforuseafternaturaldisasters,firesorexposurestochemicalsnotrepresentativeofthetestliquidsorexcessivephysicaldamagebeyondtheexpectedassembly,installationandusesasidentifiedintheserequirements.
